Which Drum Machine?

Hi all, I need a drum machine and I have narrowed it down to a Boss DR88 or an Alesis SR18.
which would you go for and why............Looking forward to your help in choosing.

What do you want to use the drum machine for?

I have an SR-16 (now 21 years old) to practice with and I make demos with an Alesis Dm5 and Novation Drum station... they are all good in their own way.

Is that ready yet though?

I use a couple of pedals with the SR-16 for start / stop and another to initiate a fill, so in practice it seems very similar....it does take up a fair bit of space though.
