I gotta go with Carter Beauford. That man knows how to listen and play to the MUSIC like very few drummers can. He plays the drums musically and has such a groove. Plus I love his off-beat sixteenth high-hat accents! (Derico Watson, Roy Wooten {Futureman}, and Bill Bruford would be really great too.)
