Which Fender Jazz finish?

I'm hopefully ordering one of these beauties soon, but I am undecided on ths finish to choose.
Which would you go for?

they are all nice and from time to time I would prefer one over the other but the sunburst is classic and I also hear that a sunburst finish is best for metal...LMAO

You'll enjoy the bass whatever the finish, so basically choose the one you like the most. A Jazz can pull off any colour. And look good!

i was looking at getting one of those too.
i love white/tort/rosewood personally.

edit: even though its a pao ferro fretboard...same idea.

I am a sunburst fan but recently I am dying to get white, especially when they get aged. Just by looking at the picture, you can't go wrong with any color and they fit nicely into any setting IMHO. They all look nice. I guess it is all depend on personal preference, type of music you play, your band setting or look, etc2.

All four are nice choices. Go with the one you find yourself thinking about most often. Can't go wrong with any of them...

Well, my '64 NOS Custom Shop Jazz is a 3 tone sunburst with rosewood fretboard, but if I had it to do over again, I'd go Olympic White with tort guard. NO QUESTION!!!!

Color is such a personal choice. They'll all be fine and it's just up to you which one you like best. Personally I'd pick any of those.

I was gonna say number 2 , but I see you have it already, That is a really nice looking bass .

I'm still not sure which, I'm not sure about the black though. I play in a blues band, a grungy band, and a djenty band currently, and I'm not bothered with it fitting in with the look of the certain style. I tend to wear kinda greys, browns, white and black. So anything would go with that I guess.

With the rosewood, I'd go either 1 or 2. Num 4 only works with a maple neck, IMHO. Num 3 is ok, but it's the bottom of my list.
