Which Fender Sunburst do you prefer?

I prefer 2-color sunburst. The only 3 tones I seem to like are the mid to late '70s Fenders where the red was much more pronounced in a way that wasn't done before or since. Otherwise, I prefer bursts aren't of the sun.

i personally love the yellow contrast of A.

i recently got my AM PRO II sunburst p bass refinished, but only because i have a sunburst jazz.

the grandad-burst slurs seem to be picking up momentum of late.

if sunburst hadn't existed before and was suddenly introduced, i'm sure everyone would go crazy for it!

mind you, if my aunt had bollocks, she'd be my uncle...

I know this will get me ostracized by the TB illuminati, but I am not a big fan of any Fender burst. It is soooooo overdone. Frankly, it just looks tacky and dated. The only thing that makes it worse is a tort pickguard...

Jan '64, the original 3 color burst.

I can't stand any of the modern orange-ish they had done for the last 30 or so years.

Couldn't decide. I'm not that picky, except that they all "need tort", preferably of the reddish variety with some black and yellow flecks. - However, the 2-tone 'burst with no red (which wasn't an option) looks best with anodized gold, IMO.
