Which Fender Sunburst do you prefer?

To me, few things say "classic" like a sunburst finish. Who invented it, does anybody know?

I think there was an error on the poll. B should be called Carrotburst.

I'm not a huge fan of the burstage but can dig it on vintage Fenders. I think it's F Bass that does a "Cherryburst" that's pretty elegant.

Agreed. Them and G&L make the best burst finishes IMO.

I left out tobacco burst because it's not sunburst. Also, nice popsicle. Needs some tort though.

I'm extremely fussy about the subject. Hard to find a broad yellow field with a very understated red band into the brown perimeter. I am keeping a couple that aren't quite right but I live with them for now.

Hmm A or C for me--I have a Mustang guitar--that is more A--but shows the grain more than the pictures at the start--but more yellow than C
So I will go with A...
I do like to see wood grain--so all three have merit that way.
