As a sometimes Sadowsky flat ss user, I also find the chromes very different....so different in fact that my first reaction was to pull them off before I even finished stringing the bass.
Then for some reason, I heard something that called out to me in the mids and I decided to give 'em a try. What I also find is that I naturally dig deeper with these strings and the dig deeper +chrome sound nets out to a sound and feel I really have gotten to like.
