Which forum to post my bass question?

Hello. I wanted to ask a question to other bass players, asking how a bass guitar's tone can be improved with modifications, and how they have done it. But I'm not sure which forum to post my question in. Basses, Amps & Cabs, Pickups & Electronics, Effects, Strings, Hardware/ Setup/ Repair... since my question encompasses any number of these topics. I tried to contact a mod, but there's been no reply. I'm not sure which mods to talk to about this?

If you're talking about modding a bass, I would put it either in basses or in setup/repair. Of course, all of the above do affect tone, but those are the ones for talking about the bass guitar itself.

To be honest it depends what you're trying to do to it. If you're contemplating changing the pups or adding/removing a preamp, I'd say it should go to Pickups and Electronics. Anything else (bridge, tuners, nut, etc) would probably be fine in the Basses forum.
