Which fretless to keep?

I have Squier Jazz and an SX P Bass short scale fretless basses. I prefer playing short scale and the SX buzzes like a bee and the Squier feels huge.

I play in a folk/rock back-up band for singers & songwriters in a small coffee-house sized venue and the fretless is used maybe 1 song out of 10...

Your thoughts please?

FWIW, the longer scale Squire bass should be a little more forgiving in intonation.
