I'm taking a good, long look at any one of these:
Gibson 70's Tribute Grabber 3:

Because it somehow just screams "Classic Rock" to me!
Schecter Hellraiser Extreme 5:
Because it is sweet 5-string with what I consider a near-perfect control layout (I can do without the midrange control) wrapped in an exterior that executes "brooding, yet understated elegance" perfectly.
Or build a Warmoth P-bass. If there is anything my meager collection lacks, it is a vintage-ish P-bass...
And then, whatever creature I choose would be amplified through a Genz Benz NEOX-2 212T (I'm pretty dead-set on that cab), though either one of these:
Genz Benz Streamliner 600
OR one of these:
Markbass TTE 500 Randy Jackson Signature

It depends how "dirty" the Markbass can get. I'm not talking "grind", I'm talking "Lemmy." The Genz Benz will do that. The only thing I don't like about the G-B is the chassis-- I like the fact that the Markbass actually LOOKS like an amplifier!
