Which Jaco book? (transcripts)

  1. Which Jaco book has the most accurate transcripts? I don't care about TAB. Recommendations?

Thanks!! And I do plan on buying all three ZonGuy, I'm just not quite at a level where I can actually reach for these most times I pick up my bass. It'll have to wait a few more years ;)

It's better to transcribe it yourself.

I'm going to second the transcribing on your own. You're going to learn more if you do it that way. Especially in the case of figuring out harmonics.

i agree with this, but my musical ear isn't great so some things (especially jaco - esque stuff) i find reall difficult so to have the transcription or at least a chord chart is really helpful

get Jaco The Essentials book. Pretty good. Note that jaco never really played the same song the same way twice. example, if you learn Amerika from this book it will be different than what you hear on the recordings and live..its your job to spruce it up!
