Which Korn track is hardest to play?

unfortunately when people meet us rockstars for 10 minutes they think they know us lol. i am not always all kinds of friendly when i meet people. it depends what mood i am in just like normal people. i toured with korn and he was not friendly to me, but he was not a jerk either. my favorite fieldy moment was when he walked onstage during our soundcheck on the second day of the tour. walked in front of my amps, faced them, stood there for 25 seconds, then walked off while the song was still going. on day 3 a truck pulled up full of new ampeg bass amplifiers and speakers just like mine :) he still never said a word to me the whole tour lol. on the last day of the tour he nodded at me as i walked by in the hallway, and i nodded back and kept walkin. johnny a. staind

The first time I met him was in a small venue in St. Louis. They were opening for Marylin Manson and Danzig. Not only was he very cordial when I recognized him, but he waited while I went and fetched my pals to come and meet him. Then he asked random people in the crowd for a pen until he found one to sign autographs. I have seen him twice since then and both times he recognized me and was polite.

Reading your post brings to mind Neil Peart. If you have seen the video "Beyond the guilded cage" he explains why he is rarely cordial to fans. He even had Timmy C. removed from his dressing room after Commerford gushed about how great he was.


Anyway, I was talking about you the other day and how cool I think it is that you spend time here just being part of the bass community.

I have to say I do not particularly care for Staind, but I think as a person Aaron Lewis ( and obviously you as well) is a pretty neat guy.

I had a similar experience. My band did a string of dates opening for Korn and Disturbed on the Pop Sux tour. The majority of the band was awesome. Jonathan sat down at a catering table with me and we ate lunch together...great guy. I thanked everyone in Disturbed and KORN for letting us open for them. When I approached Fieldy, I thanked him and he looked up at me(he was sitting) and reached for a Sharpie and signed my arm....very awkward. That was all he said to me the whole tour...

We did some sporadic local opening dates for Staind back in 2001 and 2002(I think) and Johnny and the rest of the band were awesome. I don't remember much about you guys, but I do remember Aaron coming in our dressing room to hang out with Dr. Tim and he "stole" some of our beer...lol. Do you remember Dr. Tim, Johnny? Not sure if you even know who that is...
