THe combo and the little markII will have the same power. you can use two cabs with each setup and have 500 watts. I think I'd get the combo and save a hundred bucks or so. and maybe get a 104hf or a 151hf.

Maybe so! But is it an improvement? 
The LMK has been through some cosmetic changes too, by the looks of it. Can't say it's helped much.

I don't think they're all that hot looking either, but I don't really care. The sound is where it's at, plus no one except me and my band mates would ever look at it from close up.

Hmm good idea about the combo, i don't think I'd be able to get the 104 in college though, but a 151 wouldn't be too big.
The Schroeder 1210 also caught my eye...

wt 800, EA 800. I also just bought a Mark Bass 503 ( tube pre ) I should not have done that, not because the amp sounds bad, it does'nt,its a great amp, I just did not need it.
It has more power than you can imagine, clean, clear and deep. Its for sale in the classified section of talk bass.

I almost had a LMII. I sent the money and the night before the guy was going to ship it, his pipes burst in his basement and drowned the amp. I think everything was alright, but I missed out b/c it's in the shop.
It was cool of him to let me know and not just stall and send it.

I might be ordering an S800 from my local GC quite soon...I can't wait.
Have any of you tried out the Markbass bags? Which size would be right for the S800? Large? Can you plug in the head while it's still in the bag?

In that pic it's ugly, but I think w/o those strange rack ears it wouldn't look so bad.
Im suprisd no one has mentioned the sa450. Entry into there pro range, this thing packs an ultimate punch.
According to their website, the SA450 has the same power as the Little Mark II, no valves and still only one channel. The only difference is a couple of extra mid frequency controls .Does it do something else that they're not telling us about
? I hope not, as I chose to ignore that model and ordered my Little Mark II, just two days ago. Can't wait!

Wow, I'm dumb. I just realized that it's the SD800, not the S800 like I've been saying. Oh well, I still want it.
