Which multi FX shloud I get ?

I know, there are tons of posts like those, but i'm stuck.
I can't decide my self between an M5, an iStomp, a MS70CDR or another one.. I sold my B3 and started to swap it for SA stuff (Manta and Dimension for the moment).

So I need a new multi FX for those sounds : delays, mods, octave and maybe some others.

Pros and cons for me :

M5 : pros : MIDI, EXP input, whammy effect . Cons : footprint, 1 effect at the time
Istomp : pros : footprint, lots of effects to choose from, cheap. Cons : 1 effect at the time, no MIDI or exp
MS70CDR . Pros : up to 6 effects at the same time, good delays, footprint. Cons : no MIDI or EXP

MIDI capability and exp pedal input are very important to my eyes, as I'm planning to get a SA Hub and I've already got a SA Dual Expression pedal I'd like to use with some other stuff.

If you have any suggestions, they would be appreciated !

By the first part, I say the Zoom MS-70cdr. By the second part, not sure why you even included the Zoom or the iStomp. Sounds like the M5 is the only thing that meets that criteria.

It seems to have a lot of features, such as the M9 or Nova System, but i would really prefer it to fit on my PT2 sized board, that´s why I thought about the pedals listed above.

The fuzz in the upper right corner isnt' goin to stay too

1+ on the Boss GT-10B, it has all that you are looking for + more, up to 15 effects at one time.
Very programmable (assign up to 9 parameters to the EXP pedal at one time per patch), parallel effects channels, amp modelling (if required), 2 of almost every effect, or 3 in some cases.
USB audio/midi and 5 pin midi I/O ports.

If midi is a must, that narrows it down. Maybe a roger linn adrenalin or whatever they are called. They have guitar and bass effects.

Saw a cover band where the guitar player used one...it was synced up to a keyboard player and a drummer using electronic drums. They sounded very good. I struck up a conversation with the guitar player between sets. First time I ever saw a live band use a click track and midi synced effects.

The GT10B is way too big for me.
The Adrenalinn could be a nice option, does anyone here ever played one ? In need advices about delays and mods on it, i saw a bunch of youtube videos but most of the shown effects are filters, sequencers..

The Pandora Stomp doesn't fit my needs, but thanks !

The Pandora Stomp is the same old software Korg has been releasing since the PX4b. It isn't even CD quality. It coverts at 16 bit 32K. Yeah, it sounds decent, but the Zoom MS60b 'stomps' all over it. The MS70-CDR isn't going to meet your needs as it doesn't have an octaver. It's a great pedal though, its Eventide and Line 6 models sound fantastic.

Just looked it up...sweetwater carries the roger linn pedal. It has synced delays and modulation effects. Call them up an talk to a rep who is familiar with the pedal. They are very helpful- I'm pretty sure all of the sales reps are actually musicians. Someone there surely has tried out the pedal.

or go for a smaller multi-effects without the xtra functions..maybe the line 6 or the smaller Boss or as oldcatfish suggested, the roger linn..

The Addrenalinns have great amp modeling. For Guitar. The effects sound great on bass, but it is really a guitar pedal.

Sounds like what the OP wants is the adrennalinn.

Sorry for jumping in late. I own and use the Adrenalinn III. First off, it doesn't do pitch shifting, so I keep a MicroPog on my board to handle that. I don't care for the bass amp models, but I do use the Tube Preamp model to shape my tone a little bit or I'll use the guitar models to dial up some grit or distortion/overdrive. The compressor is horrible for bass, so I would also suggest a separate compressor. The filters and modulation are really good. The reverb and delay are passable but not overly versatile. The tuner works fine but doesn't pick up a low B. The programmability is really deep and offers some great sounds if you take the time to learn how to program the thing and all of it's abilities. I probably spend at least a little time after every show tweaking the settings a bit. You'll also want to use a separate MIDI controller, as busting through the presets can be a real pain without one. I use an old Rolls MIDIWizard because it fits on my board and I already owned it, but the Behringer controller is probably the best alternative.

I'm going MicroPog>Channel A of the TC Nova Dynamics (set on Noise Gate to catch any glitches from the Pog)>Adrenalinn III>Channel B of the Nova Dynamics set in "Studio Compression" mode. This board is a Pedaltrain JR., just to give you an idea of size.

It's probably not a setup for newbies or people who like to adjust their effects on the fly. There's a lot of work to be done. The ultimate payoff is really good, but there are probably some bass specific multieffects that are more useful out of the box.

I bought a MS60B as a backup for my Boss ME50B and now it's my main pedal. I use it as a dirt box , compressor or booster depending if I play wit my metal band, my Helloween tribute ban or my cover band.

Low price and decent sounds. I don't regret about it.

For headphone practising I sold my Bass V-Amp and bought a Zoom B1on. It sounds good and maybe iI'll use it in some small gig just to see how it works in a live environment.
