Which Mustang?

Wow, I missed that! I didn’t even think about a rotary switch- the switch location is the one thing that I don’t like on this bass. I know you said blend pot on yours, but I’ll have to look into s rotary switch, or something more low profile. I hit the switch accidentally often on gigs, and the p alone is much different than the pj.
I briefly had a volume pot there. The blend pot has enough resistance that it doesn’t accidentally move too easily. The volume pot did move easily by accident. I bet a rotary switch would be even better.

I rolled the neck on my pj and it does make it feel much nicer. Not hard to do, just take the shank of a screwdriver and rub it on the sides at an angle. I also used 320, 500, and 1200 grit on the back of the neck and now it is much more satin feeling than gloss, which I prefer because I sweat a lot. I know others who very much prefer gloss, so to each their own. I really like the profile of the neck too. I used to really prefer wide necks but as arthritis has progressed, 1.5” feels right to me. I just got a Japanese hofner copy with a 1.5” neck that is killer too, although the mustang will will be my main hugging bass as I do weddings, etc.
