Why is someone from Talkbass on the front page of American Songwriter? In between Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell, Eric Clapton and A-ha no less?? Having connections helps for sure.

My bandleader has an old mate that writes for American Songwriter and he offered to do a writeup of us and our new song, Splinter. We agreed to have it "premiere" at their website and I sure would love it if you'd click the link, read through the article, and then watch/listen to our new song (end of article).

For 3 dudes that started a side project in 2020 and didn't play as this group until May 2022, we're super excited about this and our debut show in a few weeks (full disclosure: I have played with Robb and Cass since 2018 in Stereo Embers).

My singer is pretty well connected, has been in the scene for a long time. He reached out to a local DJ he knows, on a small indie station. I had to go run an errand and on the way back, heard our song on the radio. In 35+ years of being in bands, that was the first time I can recall anything I ever played on being on the radio.

Pretty dang cool.
