Which overall favorite Class D amp?

I voted " other ". Although the preamp is Class A, the two power amps are class D in the Carvin BX1500. I have tried the following : GB Shuttle 6.0 and 9.0, ShuttleMax 12.0, MB LMII , F1, and TA501. The BX1500 is the best bang for the buck bass amp I have ever owned. It has more options like compressor, 2 ohm capable, crossover for bi amping, two EQ choices that can be used at the same time, or singly, etc. It is basically a dual power amp with a preamp around 10 pounds. It has the best graphic eq I have ever used, and into a 4 ohm load, I'm getting 1500 watts. All this for under $600. My only gripe about it is that it has to be rack mounted, adding weight and bulkiness. The case Carvin offers does not have a front cover for it so I don't see the point and its rather heavy. The BX1500 is light enough to fit in a large laptop bag which would add little weight, but sadly, Carvin does not offer the amp in a non rack model. I have all the power I will ever need, and more options to do whatever I feel like, with any type of cab(s) I'll ever try. A no brainer for me.

The BX1500 is it for me as well. Just got mine a couple of weeks ago. Exceptional.

What I don't understand is, why is it that Euphonic Audio never makes it into these kinds of polls? It's always the same ol' faces: Genz Benz, Gallien Krueger, Aguilar, MarkBass, etc.

My choice? The Euphonic Audio iAmp Pro

+1 My favorite amp is the EA iAMP500.

Edit: I also notice Walter Woods isn't on the list.

The only class D's I've owned were an Eden WTX-260 and a GK MB200. I voted "other" for the MB200. Great tone and 200 watts in a 2 pound package. Looking to buy a new class D amp now, and trying to decide between them all...tough decision to make after reading such a variety of glowing reviews in this thread! :D

I voted RH750 - that's the only class D amp I own, or have owned. Great piece of gear IMO.

Keep looking for a lightweight amp for my other rig, not easy to decide. So far, the GK MB800 seems to be the most interesting one. I promised myself to never buy anything GK, we'll see how that goes. :)

MY PF500 weighs 11lbs.

I picked it up the other day and my lower back just exploded!
No more of those heavyweight dinosaurs for me! <sarc>

I will never understand the Ampeg hate on this site.

I don't see it. I've used and loved many Ampegs. However, I bought a PF500 last year and ended up returning it and replacing it with a MarkBass LMIII - more useful for my sound, and I found it to be much louder as well. Just my experience with it.
