auto-wah

I know pretty much nothing about effects and some of the stuff it talks about but I'm wanting to get a pedal soon and these are the two i'm picking. I want the auto-wah but the fuzz on the normal wah pedal is a nice boost. What would yall suggest for playing mainly rock and rock/funk like red hot chili peppers stuff?

Well, are you sure you want THAT auto-wah?

Since you said you don't know alot about effects, maybe you might want to check out different types. Theres soundclips of alot of them in the clips dataBASS, the Wiki, and maybe the old soundclips thread.

Unless youre sure that's the specific one you want (I'm not talking down the pedal, but it seems like you just picked a random wah/filter :smug: )

Well i want an autowah and i have a very small range of prices. I'm not just going to go out and buy it i am going to try it out and try out a few other things just to see how it stacks up but its pretty much what i'm going for.

It's really sad that the Snarling Dogs pedals fall apart so consistently because they sound great. I had a Blues Bawls that I recently gave up on....Sounded and felt fantastic, but the first one I received through UPS didn't work right out of the gate: the input jack had already fallen into the pedal. No big deal really, but I didn't want to fix it only to find out that something else was wrong with it and void my warranty.

The second one came in with the exact same problem on the output jack. Sent it back as well.

The third one worked great for awhile, loved the tone, loved everything about it, but it died a few weeks ago so I'm done with them now.
