Which Pick guard on my Stingray?

I have the same bass made in 2000 and I think it came with a black pick guard but I pulled it off and prefer it bare. ... Great colour.

I voted white, just because the orange design was over the top and cheesy. If it were my bass...black PG.
Of the two options white for sure. Personally, I'd go clear.
Sell both, buy black. The white one is also cool, the other one, as amusing at it looks it really is out of place. Doesn’t combine with the body color.
I voted orange tort but, I like the white too.
Color is a funny thing. I have a book on color and the science/psychology behind it. Pretty interesting stuff.
I haven't had a chance to read through the thread so I'll ask, do you gig with it? If so, what type of music/band are you playing it with? To me, the orange tort speaks toward funk, jazz, or possibly metal. Where as, the white gives me that rock, surf music and also, metal vibe.

Find a blank white PG and take it to an artist that does graphics work. They should be able to figure it out or point you toward someone that does it.
You just gave me an idea! My daughter is an artist and can help me with something like that.
Of those two choices, I'd go white. That said, I used to have a Sunset Orange Transparent Jazz that I put a brown tort on. I thought it looked good; and the brown tort blended well with the rosewood board. Looked pretty good onstage, too.
