Which preamp/EQ/DI pedal ?

For my part, I own a EBS Microbass II. It's a really really cool unit if you use it how you're supposed to. The DI and Speaker simulator are very natural! I, personnaly, use the first channel (SVT-ish) all flat, with the speaker sim. Sometimes, depending on the gig/room, I'll rolloff some lowend. I use the second channel as a 2KHz boost or a dynamic slightly overdriven channel. I put a ****** DOD chorus in the FX Loop, and I open (100%) or close (0%) the loop with the ''Blend'' knob at the beginning of the song (which happens rarely). The headphone amps works great, and all the features are really usefull. It's a swiss army knife, really.

On the down side, the EQ's on the second (more modern) channel are not great. And, as mentionned in the review of this pedal, you can't match the volume of a great overdriven tone on the 2nd channel with a clean tone on the first one.

My DHA arrived today !

Played it for about 15 min, sounds amazing ! I can't wait to dig it ! The tone I got from flat EQ is just unexpectedly great, on both chanel blue and red.

The clean, OD and distortion I got are awesome.

I only turned the knobs of the EQ to check them, they are very efficient and the freqs are pretty well choosed.

As far as I can tell, this preamp looks wonderful !

I love my DHA.....just wish it was smaller....clean, OD, EQ, etc....wonderful preamp...it makes any of my basses and amps sound they way they should.....

I also love my BDDI.....somehow the BDDI, my chambered bass with 2 SGD wide aperture pups into my LMII and Schroeder or AudioKinesis cabs sounds wonderful

But I'm interested in The Enabler......GAS
