I have three options when getting my new rig this summer:

1. Hartke Rig
Hartke HA3500 200€ used
Hartke TP410 350€ new from my local store

I loved this combo in the store, only the head was a HA3500A

2. Ashdown rig
Ashdown MAG 300H
Ashdown MAG 410T
548 € + 20 € or more in shipping

Never tried a Ashdown, but people seem to like them

3. GK Backline

So which one do you guys recommend? And can anyone tell me if there's any difference between the HA3500 and the A-model except the fancy covers?

I can't speak to anything other than what I've owned- which was the backline 410- I wasn't incredibly impressed, but wasn't disappointed either. I guess it all depends on what you've grown accustomed to. If you're used to playing high end cabs, the Backline can sound kind of brittle and thin, but if it's what you can afford, I don't think you'll have any complaints.

I've read some decent reviews of the backline 600 head- (search out fdeck's review). At least I think it was fdeck who did a fairly extensive review of them.

I would get the VX cab instead of the TP. The transporters are awful cabs and they pop their cones like a lonely guy watching porno. The VX are paper cones, and have a little more warmth and aren't much more expensive that the TPs.

What kind of music do you play? thats the real decision maker between these set ups

GK or Ashdown. I went with the GK head, but I didn't much care for the BLX cabs. I don't know if the GLX cabs are available where you are, but I liked those much better.

I liked the Ashdown stuff too, but the GK rig suited my personal taste a bit better. Not impressed by the Hartke.

I don't think avatar sells their stuff outside the US...

The thing is, I have a Kickback 12, and I really like it's tone, and the HA3500A through the TP410 had a tone I really liked aswell.
I play mostly fingerstyle blues and funk, and a lot of slap.

The hartke rig would be the cheapest one for me, plus that it's the only one with a tube pre. I don't really like the GK, but if you guys think that I should go with Ashdown I will give it some serious thought...

Oops sorry, I forgot that you live outside the US.
If you really like the Kartke tone you got throught the 3500 + 410TP, then by all means get it. My first real head was the 3500 and it was very very good and super loud for 350watts. If you liked the cab then get it. The most important thing is that you're happy with your rig.
