Which Rotosound strings are these?

Pretty certain he's playing Rotosound strings as the orange-red silks are visible in very many videos of this band playing live.
Any chance one can tell by his tone whether these are the Swing Bass RS66 rounds or the Jazz Bass 77 flats?

If I had to guess I would say rounds. However his tone is warm enough that they could possibly be flats too. So broken in swing bass 66 and fresher flats honestly have a bit in common.
The cranked SVT + fridge cab combined with the Ric must be the factors mostly determining his warm fuzzy tone and will possibly make any set of strings sound more or less so.

Trying to replicate his tone I get closer with a Pbass + Dunlop flats as with a Pbass + Roto Swing Bass rounds. But this is through a Markbass head and a 4x10 Markbass cab + compressor and of course this setup is not exactly appropriate for the tone I'm looking for.

I bet they are rounds just because of how more common they are but he’s got a lot of stuff happening in that tone besides strings. If you haven’t tried the Dunlop steel rounds they sound roto like but honestly better. I switched over from rotos and with these it’s like having fresh rotos but they keep a brighter tone longer. They call them signature series stainless now.
