I'm a Philly based musician/composer that is considering moving to a new scene. My goal is to play in bands and/or try to get a spot as a backing musician for an act that has potential to tour. I know that you are based in LA and are probably biased towards that scene, but do you have any advice as to whether I should check out NY or Nashville as well? I love Philly, but it just seems like there are more opportunities elsewhere (it could just be a "grass is always greener" mentality).
I also do film scoring work, so it seems like LA would be the best place to be overall.
