I'm wondering if anyone can give me advice on pursuing advancement in double bass/music composition.
I'm looking for a university in toronto region to do a major in 1)Classical Performance and/or 2)Jazz Composition/Performance. After searching the web, it leaves me with two options of either "York University" or "U of Toronto". Reason for toronto? basically lodging.
Would like to hear comments about each schools program and how well it caters to each spectrum of double bass playing and composition... if anyone is there, based there or have studied there?
I will probably have one year to decide where to go.
Pls feel free to comment on other study related matters too.
