First off, apologies if this is the wrong forum. Mods, feel free to move it. As my question is about least affecting the dynamics of a passive instrument, this forum was my best guess. Live Sound or Pickups/Electronics seem more 'on-topic' but my guess is Basses would provide the most discerning opinions on this question.
