Are both units upgraded to RF2?I've had my G50 for a few years now and have experienced really short dropouts. Only for half a second, almost like it's resetting connection. My guitarist (I'm on bass) uses a G50 on a diff channel and has no problems. Anyone experience these sort of dropouts? Wifi is there, but nowhere near the receiver. As I said, he has no issues.
Today it pretty much died completely. My voodoo power supply works for my other pedals, but the G50 receiver wasn't getting enough juice to relay signal.
Considering switching to Sure due to the dropouts, but wonder if it may just be a mfg defect? Thoughts??
You should use either RF1 or RF2 on all units used at the same time:
"The new V75, 55 and 35 default to RF2 mode, but include the ability to be switched into RF1 mode. You cannot use RF2 mode in the presence of any older Line 6 2.4G wireless (including Relay) in the same venue. If you try you will likely get failures in both the old and new units. Just say no! You can check using the RF scan feature included in XD-V75 receivers."
