Which Xotic pedal as post compressor boost?

Looking for a clean boost to put after my compressor to give me a slight boost for solos. Not interested in overdrive or gain, just an increase in volume. I am looking at the EP Booster and the Bass RC booster. I like the EP because it is small (I have a small board as I play in a large band and don't have much stage room) and simple, but I am curious as to how useful the RC is. I play an EBMM Sterling which does not suffer from low signal or weak EQ as the pedal is claimed to remedy. Just wondering if anyone has compared the two and what the differences are. Thanks.

just tried the EP booster. it's a really nice boost and sounds awesome. keep in mind that even at it's lowest boost setting it adds a little level and it does 'color' your tone a little bit, but in a good way (it adds fullness and top end even without the bass boost or bright switches clicked in), so if you want perfectly flat, i'd go with the RC but the EP is a super nice sounding booster.

Thanks. Thats exactly the type of effect I am looking for. A little boost in presence for sticking out in the mix. I think I will go with the EP, and save myself a little cash and pedal board space.

+1 to this. I use a EP booster and use to have the RC bass booster and tried them side by side and the EP sounded better in every way, So it stayed.
