Who All Is Getting a New Bass This Week?

Yeah... HD, let me know how you like yours when it arrives. I'll post something once I get some time with mine.
Mine's a little unusual. It's a parts bass, and has both the original passive tone circuit and a P-Retro, with a passive/active switch and coil splitting. It was very reasonable!

yes i am paying for it... why not?
im getting the pups and all the hardware...
its very fixable...

im going to make a pick gaurd..that looks something like a rickenbacker to cover over the hole..and the neck is a very simple fix with some epoxy injection..and some veneer..
and cheap!!!! too

MontyP -- Glad to see that Tobias/Curbow going to a good home!

cj -- Yes, the Warmoth is tiding me over from withdra-Wal, Curbow-anxiety, and Nordstrand-envy. What can I say, I'm an addict...

cheezewiz -- What a cool Jazz! I love the blueburst with with blue tortie guard. Is the fretboard blue-ish as well? Tell me more!

I got this '96 Acacia 6 from Lamarjonz.
Sweet quilted maple top. Looks like wenge neck with maple and something else as stringers. Mahogany also (?) on the body wood. Lane Poor passive soaps. Kahler bridge. Gotoh tuners.

I took it apart and cleaned it, waxed it, polished the metal, put some Smith Medium Rockmasters on it. Sounds really nice.

A great 6!!! A little heavy though.
