Along with Jerry, I bought all three ZZ albums as a kid bass player ( ZZ, Rio Grande Mud and Tres ) and played along. I think DUsty helped me find a groove early on in playing which helped me land a 2 1/2 yr gig at age 17 with a bunch of old farts. Made money. Had a blast. Now I'm an old fart! THNX DUSTY!

i think he's great. Being able to hold together a 3 piece band is a much harder task than it seems at first sight.
Dusty also has great gear and tone.

his groove is so deep. at first i thought zz top was kind of lame, but when i saw them live, i realized that on top of excellent execution, they have buckets of soul.

To hell with Bootsey, I've always thought ZZ Top was as funky as they come. A lot of that is due to Mr. Hill. He doesn't waste a drop, does he?
