Not really. The ekko has some other features like like dual outs and exp. input, but this pedal has the addition of modulation. It also only comes in one flavor while the ekko 600 comes in bright and dark, so it could easily be a pretty different circuit.

FWIW I own a ekko 600 (dark) and simply dig it. I use the expression pedal capabilities to adjust, in real time, the delay. Great pedal.

+1. I'm also guessing that it uses chinese delay chips, unlike the panasonics in the Ekkos.

I just tried an E600B and it was really nice but just wasn't quite right I think price had a lot to do with that.

does anyone know if there is another little knob behind the mix knob. It looks like the mid controls are external not like the CC. Which I good so you don't have to open it up to play with the modulation controls.

That one seems nice, feature- and price wise, and might even suit my needs a bit better than the Echo 600 that I already have but seldom use.

To each his own - I doubt this new delay will kick the E600B off my board, it took my a lot of trial and error to find my dream delay thankyaverymuch!

a buddy of mine has the E600D and its pretty much the holy grail of delay as far as im concerned. its got more features than i know what to do with.

I think I'd prefer a D and my heart belongs to the Echobox so far

Have you tried the Dark too, or just the Bright. I'm giving these some serious thought and wanted to gather opinions but it seems most have either played or or the other and not both.

The E600D has more features than you know what to do with? I thought it just had knobs for time, regeneration and mix. Or were you talking about this new one?

I could be wrong but I don't think Toasted or TaySte are in Anaheim for NAMM.
