a buddy of mine has the E600D and its pretty much the holy grail of delay as far as im concerned.

Agreed. I went through a lot of delay pedals before getting one of those. It cured my needs for all things delay. Even this new Malekko doesn't tempt me much, but it sure does look cool.

Have you tried the Dark too, or just the Bright. I'm giving these some serious thought and wanted to gather opinions but it seems most have either played or or the other and not both.

I've owned both variety, and to me the Dark was the clear winner. The Bright types are quite nice, but when delving into self-oscillation land, they get chirpy and spaceshippy (?) too quickly for me. For regular delay usage they stay cleaner longer, but both have that typical analogue decay sound to them. Unlike a lot of others I tried they don't do that whoosh thing too obviously, which is pretty sweet.

The E600D has more features than you know what to do with? I thought it just had knobs for time, regeneration and mix. Or were you talking about this new one?

the second output, true bypass switch for different character, expression pedal. thats amazing compared to my old DOD BBD delay.

To each his own - I doubt this new delay will kick the E600B off my board, it took my a lot of trial and error to find my dream delay thankyaverymuch!
