Serious answer. I believe I read that it was a parts bass - starving musician, used what was cheap. The lefty neck wasn't by design, just what he could find/afford.

Always did love the look of that bass though

I wonder if Iommi's Strat is the same guitar he used on the 1st Black Sabbath album. Apparently a pickup died and he began using his back up, an SG.
