this is my string evolution:
fender->d'addario->dunlop->rotosound

i just started using rotosound and so far i am really impressed by them.

If you like Rotos you should try DR. I started with Roto and used them for a couple months. Switched to DR and wow, got a whole new feel and sound. To me the finish they used on Rotos felt a little rough and difficult to play with my fingers. Switched to DR and they feel great. Just my opinion.

Circle K's are my favorites. If you haven't tried one of their balanced sets yet, you owe it to yourself to do so. My second choice would be GHS, followed by D'addario. The only strings that I absolutely will never use again are Ernie Balls... they're also the only set of strings I ever changed because I didn't like them, not because they were dead.

I'm fairly new so the only after market strings I've tried are chromes and roto swing 66. I really like the feel of he rotos, they feel like a fresh yoyo string. I play with my tone knob turned off so I'm sure I'm better off using something else but I love the feel of them.

wake-up to Dunlop medium nickels!

i've tried almost every brand. the Dunlops are soooo frik'n easy to play that i have NEVER sounded better. the tension is perfect for finger funk and the tone is just meaty and wet without equal.

after over 2 decades of everything else, i'm peed that i just discovered these babies!

thank-you!!!
