Who sells Harley Benton basses?

I ordered mine from Thomann Music and the delivery into the US was quick and painless. I know that doesn't answer your question, but if you have to go through Thomann hopefully your experience is the same.

The bass is mentioned to be available in 2..5 days. In my experience, combined with a YouTube video, this means that the bass is present at Thomann's, but still in its intake state: in a 6-pack on a pallet. It will be checked and individually packed.
Note that Thomann sends a notification of dispatch (by e-mail and text message) when the shipping label gets printed. Transport is likely to start the next day, to Frankfurt am Main, a major air freight hub. I'm told that DHL is Thomann's standard courier for America.

(Me, I don't have this bass, but I'm a Harley Benton hoarder.)

Yeah, I've been looking at a Harley Benton guitar they sell for $99 but shipping to me is $90! I may as well go find a used Squier at a pawn shop.
1) You could try to spread the shipping, like by buying several items yourself or by pooling with others. I do know your feeling from ordering certain "peanuts" from AliExpress. I tend to buy multiple copies of an item there to lower the price per piece. - Combining Thomann imports to the USA might also be a business opportunity.

2) Everyone and his auntie offers cheap Strats. From Harley Benton I have the ST-20HSS SBK. I bought it as a solid-body testbed for flat-wound strings. To my taste, it sounds great with Thomastik JS110. But I have a Squier too. And a deplorable 25th Anniversary Stratocaster.
