Who still likes them??I do

Gigged at the State Street Pub with my rig. With the gain at 50% and the volume at 100% at the end of the first song of our opening set the singer turned to me with a wild look and said "*** IS WRONG WITH YOU!? TURN THAT THING DOWN!!" That certainly shed some light on his writhing about on stage like a mashed cat. It was at that point that I noticed the audience had cleared out from the center of the bar and there was an open path from the stage to the back wall. Oops. I had my cabinets up on a stand I made to place them at about hip to chest level and boy did they rock. I could feel my lungs moving in my chest. I dialed it back for the rest of the set.

No doubts in my mind that this can handle my stage sound from here on out. Very pleased with it and got a lot of compliments from the audience on the sound along with varying observations of how loud it was.

I have had an XR18 AIR mixer for a year and a half now. Never has failed me and it cost a 4th of what my Allen and Heath 24ch. cost me years ago not counting all the fx,comps, gates, and eqs that went along with it.
