Who would play it?

I assume it would be played two-handed tapping style like a Stick, though with a "unidirectional" tuning. There are people on here who play such things. No idea what the quality on that one would be at that low of a price.

Basically, yeah, a Stick. (That's a great description of one, actually.)

This is the 2nd week this bass (well, a different color) has been posted on TalkBass. The one you're looking at is one of the cheap ones acquired from DH Gate or AliExpress. A buyer will get what they pay for. It's not like the listing is for a custom Conklin or another reputable builder's ERB.

Thats who usually gets those: guys that two handed tap....Before I got my Stick, I looked into one of those (something similar) because of the conventional tuning and was initially afraid of Stick...turns out: nothing to be afraid of .... I use whats called "Matched Reciprocal" tuning on Stick

You'd need to want to play a bass such as this, and, more importantly,
you'd need to be able to afford the string changes.

I get comments about my 6 string every other night I play it out.
But I could only guess what people had to say about this one.
