That just goes to show how big the market is for this format of amp.
There just doesn't seem to be any.

Demeter is now making an 800-Watt "Minnie 800D" power amp in a chassis sized to fit beneath the Monique pre-amps:
2" high x 10" wide X 6" deep.
They're supposed to be available for sale right after NAMM.Unfortunately, they won't support a 2-Ohm load, so I won't be buying one.

Does anyone have any experience with these? Seems like the price is right if they actually hold up!
Brad, If the Amplite is 2-Ohm capable, I'm going to be a VERY happy camper!![]()

Nope, 4 ohms as mentioned.
It dawned on me last weekend that I hadn't looked for used ones in a while, checked GC's website where I've had very good luck and sure enough, there were three. Mine was the cheapest at $249 and right here in MD.
In testing it I've found that it works great with an efficient cab like my Glasstone Lil G pictured but can hit the wall with a less efficient cab like my ISI Bass-o-matic. It gets very loud with the Lil G. I'll gig with it this weekend. I'm going to look into a quick reversible way to strap them together... suggestions welcome.
Along with the Mitre Box they might weigh 6 lb. Very light setup. I'm digging it.
