There is not enough information here to determine what is actually available. In the User manual it states two different power ratings with no mention of tow different models. One mentinos 1000 watts bridged the other states 500 watts bridged. Which is it? Are these two different models? Is the manual for more than one model? How many different models aree there and what are the specs of each?

A tiny half rack unit that is capable of 1,000 watts might be cool. I would want XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs and speakon only for speaker outputs.

I guess... then again, you can't buy what's never been offered. And people have been asking about these for years and we end up with low powered Stewarts, DIY stuff and not much else.

There is a market just not a product. I have been usiung a MarkBass F1 as a PA poweramp. If I had an alternative I would have gotten it. I do not use the front end of the F1 very often.

I have an AI Clarus 4 S2 which can do 2 ohms. I need something more robust to handle two 4 ohm cabs with aggressive electric bass. I can use my Crown XLS1000 with the Mitre Box, I'd rather go smaller. At this point I'm considering a pair of small mono blocks.

Demeter is now making an 800-Watt "Minnie 800D" power amp in a chassis sized to fit beneath the Monique pre-amps:
2" high x 10" wide X 6" deep.

They're supposed to be available for sale right after NAMM. Unfortunately, they won't support a 2-Ohm load, so I won't be buying one.

Does anyone have any experience with these? Seems like the price is right if they actually hold up!

A friend and I bought them when they were on-sale. I use mine for bass and for PA support, my friend just PA support. They've been amazing and have way exceeded our expectations. Both of us wish we had bought more of them when they were around and so cheap.

Anyone selling one of them let me know - I'm buying.

PS: Search the threads under my nick. I posted mine taken apart. It looks like a well made PowerSoft knock-off inside.

The Amplite wants to see 4ohms min.

If you could live with that I'm half considering selling mine. It's been an amazingly useful piece of gear (read I should probably keep it) but I just got a little GK and don't anticipate using the SWR much now.

It dawned on me last weekend that I hadn't looked for used ones in a while, checked GC's website where I've had very good luck and sure enough, there were three. Mine was the cheapest at $249 and right here in MD.

In testing it I've found that it works great with an efficient cab like my Glasstone Lil G pictured but can hit the wall with a less efficient cab like my ISI Bass-o-matic. It gets very loud with the Lil G. I'll gig with it this weekend. I'm going to look into a quick reversible way to strap them together... suggestions welcome.

Along with the Mitre Box they might weigh 6 lb. Very light setup. I'm digging it.

Velcro straps that wrap completely around both units were the first thing that came to mind.

Several months ago, I bought some "Power Grip" pedal mounting tape from Godlyke for the purpose of "velcroing" my HPF/Pre to my practice head. I scrupulously followed the instructions, but the adhesive that held the tape to the head gave up the ghost after only a few months; and since this is my practice head, it never left the house. Moral of the story? I would not rely on Velcro to attach the amp and pre face-to-face.

If I intended to keep both units conjoined, I'd probably house them in a "bento box" with a carrying handle and a "thermos" to hold the cables.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards wraparound straps that don't attach to either piece. I need to be able to easily separate the pieces to go in their own compartments in the bag.
