Bobby Brennan is playing the NYC show which opens in a few weeks at The Beacon..
I know him and he is a great bass player and a super nice guy. DP

I've never seen Cirque live but I saw a show on TV one time and the bass playing was incredible. Especially considering some of the unconventional scenarios they put the band in (weird stage setups, costumes, etc.).

saw the new "Elvis" Cirque show in Vegas last December before the "official" opening. What a gig for the bassist, playing Elvis tunes with a modern edge on a P bass.

Just saw Banana Schpeel last night at the Beacon Theater and the bass player KICKED!! upright and electric. He was a BIG boy too . . . the whole band kicked. amazing show
