From what I see on their site, they do not make a bass amp, so that proves right there, you see, that bass amps are not ugly.

Or you can save money and make your own. Like the 60 year old Fender Deluxe that Jeff posted, bounce it around for enough years and you'll get there. They make it easy, tweed lends itself well to distressing.
If it makes you feel any better, as a mostly guitar player who dabbles in bass I've always hated that guitar amps have much worse tone controls. Few are the guitar amps that come with separate low and high mid controls or graphic EQs.
I really have no idea what is going on with amp designers though when it comes to bass amp aesthetics. Aside from the ultra compact ones most look kinda ugly. It's probably people who have no eye for design but at the same time make great circuit designs.

Oh great, you hadda go and say it out loud....no shoulder check, no nuthin'. So when Fender does start making road worn amps and the only way I can get the model I want is for it to come all factory ****kicked I'm holding you personally responsible.

As a "native" guitarist, every time I go to Guitar Center I have this thought. Why are bass amps so ugly compared to guitar amps? Sure, there are some handsome classic bass amp designs such as some Ampegs, and Acoustics, but the vast majority of bass amps currently on the market just have really ugly, gaudy design to my eyes. Here's what I'm talking about:
Bass Amps: I think bass players are more interested in the sound and functionality not the image. We feel OK to leave the pretty amps to guitar players so that it can match the image they need to project.
Guitar Amps:

As the well known book "Etiquette for Young Bass Players" states, a bass amp should be felt, not seen.
