there are comparative degrees of oddness. in the oddness scale, being obsessed about bass weight because you have an injury or shoulder problem is about a 7 out of 100. i saw a guy today walking around with a sandwich board and shouting about being alcohol-free for 15 years to anyone who would listen. that's odd.
