Why do people stop using their indicators/turn signals?

I never noticed it when I had the super dark tinted rear window on my old pickup, but that freaks the LAPD out when you get pulled over

I've got a van now so I don't get flooded by it, but it's annoying as YKW in the rear views.

I find using turn signals takes the mystery out of high speed police chases.




Ps. Canadian checking in, we call them blinkers around these parts.

I like to flip mine back and forth in time to whatever music I am listening too.

One of my favorite simple pleasures is driving behind a car and noticing its turn signal is in time with the music I'm playing.
