Why do you suck?

You know, negative reinforcement is not good for one's self-esteem. Comments like these can become self-fulfilling prophecies. If you keep saying "I suck because...", your psyche will subconciously cause you to fail in exactly that manner.

Ha! Who says I slept through college?

I'm great because I procrastinate and I'm lazy, and that gives me a chance to play even better and be more creative then I am now.

I suck because I don't take enough time to practice songs. I sit there for like 10 mins and do the song. Then I go off and play whatever is in my own head till I get bored and do something else.

I also suck because I tend not to listen to anyone else but myself.

Once again I suck because instead of counting and timing I use feel. I feel out a song. When infact I should be counting.

I'm just a dreamer. I dream my life away:D

I don't.

I don't have a job, a car, or a home, but I have been exercizing my calves and boy are the ladies impressed! I'm assuming a whole lot, but so what? The ladies.......

Oh, plus all the crappiness is circumstantial. I did have all those things, and I will again, once I hammer out some kinks.

ok in that case...
i could improve by not taking so long to ask a girl out: it took me a year and a half to ask a chick out - even then though i only managed to give her friend a note to give to her. mind you suffering from depression does tend to sap your self-confidence!
now the wait begins...
btw waiting officialy sucks!
btw i agree negative thinking is not healthy - i am undergoing cognitive behaviour therapy to change the negative thinking patterns that i have developed from my depression - so all you tbers take note - positive thinking=healthy!

I suck because I give up too early. There's a couple of things (such as the above mentioned talking-to-girls and whatnot) that I don't do because I know I'm going to fail miserably (that's negative thinking for you).

And on a second note, I'm trying to get my driver's licence and I have to practise a couple of things (parking backwards, turning around in a small street, driving backwards between a line of cars). It takes a lot of time to get anywhere near decent, and I hate it because a) my examn is due on wednesday the 12th and b) I'm not getting anywhere with it.

...at least I put in an effort to play music. Thank god for that.

I suck because I'm afraid to leave my paycheck for a chance at finding a career I enjoy.

I struggle with this one each and every day. As a matter of fact, my girlfriend and I were lying in bedtalking about this last night. She ditched her corporate life a few years ago and never looked back. Now she owns a small business and doesn't make as much money but is a million times happier. I still haven't lifted my skirt and grabbed my balls enough to go for it though...I hope someday I will.

The first step to change is admitting you have a problem. So on with the self deprecation...WHY DO YOU SUCK?

I'll start:

I suck because I'm afraid to leave my paycheck for a chance at finding a career I enjoy.

I suck because I procrastinate too much.

I know this is an old thread, but this rings very true for me.
