Sweaty palm damaging the finish over time
Builders applying useless finish instead of actually efficient one.

It's called real wear, your playing has worn/removed the protective finish in those parts of the neck. I'd call it a "True/Real" relic finish.
And your sweat and finger oils have darkened the unprotected wood.
The best resolution is to leave as is and play it with pride, or you could refinish the whole neck with something more protective.

It does !! the only prblm is that u can feel where the clear finish is gone and the wood is exposed ,and for us in aruba is very difficult getting replacements orderd like necks and stuff , i bought this lakland in 2016
You could feather the finish with a find ScotchBrite pad to make for a smoother feel.
I'd go further than 'feathering' the finish, hit it hard with some wet n dry sandpaper.
