Why doesn't anyone use the chat feature?

I was just wondering why folks don't use the chat feature here at TB? I check in there daily, and no one's ever there (except me of course!). The few times I've been there with others was great - lots of great information from other bassists, tips, ideas, etc. Comments?

i don,t use the chat because am new here..........

just go to chat, and assuming you have the correct java plugin you should be able to log right in with the same credentials as yoru forum stuff. the forum link is at the top by the way.

Why use the chat when you can use whatever forum you want to to talk about whatever you want to?

Because you can talk about random things and its just fun. Try it!

i prefer the forums,but ok maybe tomorrow i go to the chat,asuming my Opera browser can load the chat.

i was under the impression that chat was for paying members, which i'm not yet.
i guess i'll have to check my hypothesis out...
(and i DO plan on becoming a supporting member soon!)

daofktr, chat used to be for supporting members only, but it was changed over a while ago. (maybe a year ago?)
