Hello, my first post! i bought my 'vette $$ (MIG) about 4 years ago and i paid around 1000 euros.i see in thomann now the same bass ( except mine has swirly bubinga top) is being sold for 2800.What is going on?

Why has the Warwick Corvette $$ retail price skyrocketed?

I see it as two reasons, it seems there are a lot of famous artists using warwick in addition a similar bass specs and style would run $3,000. And up. Thus making the warwick brand very appealing. I use a $$ 5 corvette, I want a 4 string with the same pickup configuration but it seems impossible to find and the ones that I do find are almost $1000. More than I paid of my 5 string. Supply and demand!
