Why would I get a job that paid less than unemployment? What good would that do me?

You would rather live off your family and the generosity of hard working people that hate their jobs.

1-Work experience that can lead to better pay.
2- Self worth.

im genuinely curious... not trying to flame...

How do you decide what God's plan is for you? No offense but it kind of seems like most people just do what they want and just say "this is what god wants me to do" ...kind of like the OP is doing right now. Which gives them this "right" to just ignore reality or the damage their decisions impose on other people or society.

Praying doesnt really seem like it does anything to help or love others... isnt that what christianity is all about? God is Love? Wouldnt a better saying be "Do everything as if God was right behind us watching"? Because isnt that supposedly the case? Wouldnt he rather us be out there in the community helping people, working, spreading love rather than being shut up in a church for 10 hours a week and being a drain on family and community?

Im personally not a christian... I dont really have a religion nor am i an athiest... but i understand love, devotion, responsibility and commitment, which imo is pretty much the jist of the christian faith.....essentially what i think im trying to say is Actions speak louder than words....even holy ones.

Why would I get a job that paid less than unemployment? The bills aren't getting any smaller. Why would I take the time out of the week to go work at a job that paid less than I would make sitting at home?

I'd rather spend that time looking for a job that pays more than what I'm making off of unemployment.

A) Gaining workforce experience can help you get better jobs in the future.
B) Unemployment benefits are for the needy; not for those who have other priorities.
