Why is Maki not a mod?

Rigged election with rampant voter disenfranchisement, that's why. I heard reports of dogs being used in the Recording Forum to keep my continuency away from the polls. Shameful, really.

Over time, I believe I've uncovered the why. See, as Moderator-at-Large, I'd have been unable to participate in multiple and sundry, er, festivities in past years. The crushing of my election campaign was, in fact, a ringing endorsement of Big Font Day and other yet-to-be-named celebrations of diversity.

I can safely say that I've utilized the mike_v_s on many occasions, and sometimes he's a little ruff on the old brown spot. Many times I've had to give up and finish up with a strategic shower. Still it's a grey area between where we blame what we wipe with and how it's actually distributed, because sometimes great solutions are covered in crap.

Maki would allow good threads to go on, but he would do the bad ones and then not call them. Within a year, we would have a bunch of illegitimate baby bad threads popping up, and he would have to pay for child support left and right.

OT posts do not count anymore, and I'm pretty sure this decision is to discourage Maki from thinking that his very high performance in posting can support his liberal fornicating with crazy in the head - crazy in the sack threads in the long term.

His time of replying "I don't care, I'm post-rich, *****" to every thread-child support request is over.
