Something has to be said for overall design. Carvin knows how to design for cost and reliability. They make no money if anything has to be returned on warranty.

Nimblybimble's right. With no middleman, Carvin can eliminate the costs of shipping to the manufacturer and the markup that the manufacturer would put on the equipment.

Yup, $450 for an amp this kickass is definitely a great deal!

Carvin is awesome! Their basses and bass amps rock. I own a B5 and am very pleased with it. Get the BX1200!

I've had a bunch of Carvin gear over the years: guitar amps, stereo power amps, speaker cabs, and since 1982 I've encountered a single bad speaker (scraping piston). Fingerlust got it right.
Anyone got any experience with the SBR810 1200W 8 X 10 BASS STACK? It's only $1050 and looks pretty much perfect for what I need for a long time. Good product or priced low cuz it is no good?
Or any experience with the SBR1015 1200W BI-AMPED BASS FULL STACK??? Any feedback would be great!
i have the 810 and 1200 !!! it rocks serious ass !!!! but , it has went into protection mode on me several times . so put another fan on it and its fine .. i like the sound better than my old ampeg gk rig . i also like the neo 410 and 210 that i run stereo on the 1200 ..... all in all i really like my carvin gear . bang bang buck buck
Can you explain? Do they sound terrible to you? Or do they hum or buzz or distort or wobble or slap people's grandmothers or what?

I just picked up a BX1200. First impression is that this thing is meaty and powerful. Still fiddling with the controls. Rehearsal is Thursday, let's see how it does then.
