+1 on the Carvin stuff. I have owned a few of the amps and basses over the years. Bang for the buck, some of the best stuff out there. Peavey and Carvin seem to run neck and neck on a lot of fronts. IMHO, they run pretty equal on the amp/pro audio front. Their products are both decent sounding, well made and don't cost a lot of money. I think where Carvin was ahead for many years was the "custom" instrument side. Thus, Peavey came out with the Cirrus line to compete where they were getting their tushy kicked by Carvin. Even today, I will still order accessories from Carvin. I do not see how they can sell the stuff so cheap. On top of that, I have never had an issue with their customer service. Top notch company
