why the hell do i keep blowing my speakers

As long as the tube is operating and working.
With no obvious signs of malfunction.
There is no need to change it.
Unfortunately, there is this internet cult that promotes tube swapping looking for the Holy Grail of tone. Because tubes are in sockets, this allows easy access for tinkerers.

Already this mentality has moved to passive components and semiconductors, but to a lesser degree because it entails soldering skills.

Lol
The passive component magic is highly entertaining.
Or unfortunately when guys find out their magical 50 dollar even 100 dollar magic tubes. Need to be replaced.
And these horrible " new tubes" wake up the amp and it sounds 100 times better with the junk tubes replaced

How about the guys who spend $100 for used vintage “junk” tubes that wouldn’t have passed QC when new? Or bought something that wasn’t quite as represented and paid $100 for a tube that sells for $10?
