Wicked hum.

Hi TBers. I installed a set of Seymour Duncan Quater Pounders in my 75 JB AVRI and now I'm getting severe hum. Even with both PUPs at full volume. The stock pickups didn't hum the same. I followed the wiring specs exactly. Any suggestions? The hum would be really annoying live. Thanks. Louis

They add lotta more power and further enhance mid scoop in your very resonant bass, so yes, unfortunately that was the pair of pickups you shouldn't swap in, while a pair of Bartolini would be absolutely noiseless and still rockin'

Cheers,
